The world’s largest technology leadership survey found that COVID-19 forced one of the biggest surges in technology investment in history.

The 2020 Harvey Nash Group KPMG #CIO Survey carried out research with 4,200 IT leaders and reported that;

“Global IT leaders reported a median additional spend of 5% of IT budget to deal with the COVID-19 crisis.”

Companies spent around US$15bn extra a week on technology during the pandemic’s first wave and more cautious organisations have been prompted to accelerate their digital transformation efforts.
